Alison Peters

Principal, Strategic Initiatives

Alison Peters is the CEO of Entrellis. Alison has over 25 years of experience in business, government, and nonprofit strategy design, with a focus on energy and the environment. She has provided supporting services such as project management, facilitation, and impact tracking. She also works with technology and cleantech startups on market research and customer development strategy.

Alison has served as the City of Boulder’s Environmental Affairs Director, including work to revise the city’s land use policies to increase energy conservation and alternative energy requirements. As the managing director for the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at CU Boulder, she helped launch CU’s Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute and coordinated a cross-departmental study with Toyota on plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Alison has a BA in economics and political science from Yale University and an MA in economics from Stanford.

Delaney Khung

Delaney Khung is an Analyst at SEP. Delaney was part of SEP’s 2020 summer intern cohort before becoming a full-time analyst in 2021. She has a strong background in economics and environmental studies and has been vital in developing SEP’s IFR system, including mapping hubs and contributing to client projects. Delaney splits her time between SEP and assignments designated by Jeffrey Sachs at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

Delaney holds a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies (magna cum laude) from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her undergraduate honors thesis examined how property rights impact a country’s ability to manage carbon emissions.
