Since our inception in 2010, we have worked on successful projects and helped build valuable companies in the clean energy and advanced materials industries. This work includes investing capital from our funds and coordinating funding groups, developing strategic growth plans and financial models, engaging in operational roles to launch and grow organizations, providing support services, and developing key business relationships. ALD Nano


ALD NanoSolutions (ALD Nano) is creating cost-effective advanced materials that are transforming industries such as lighting, energy storage, consumer electronics, life sciences, fuel catalysts, water purification, sensors, and more. They’re the leader in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology on particles, with broad IP covering polymers and MEMS, as well. ALD Nano partners with world-leading companies that leverage their material designs and reactor systems to innovate products that benefit consumers globally. For more than a decade, they commercialized innovative ALD technologies developed internally and through research conducted at the University of Colorado Boulder. AMP CNG

AMP Americas (AMP CNG) is fueling the transformation of the nation’s heavy-duty trucking sector by providing clean, low cost natural gas and 100 percent renewable natural gas for vehicles. AMP Americas operates three business units; Renewable Dairy Fuels produces 100 percent renewable natural gas at its biogas facility at Fair Oaks Farms in Indiana, ampCNG owns and operates a nationwide network of 20 public-access, ultra-fast fill CNG fueling stations, and ampRenew sources RNG for partner CNG stations and ampCNG stations and provides risk management to help fleets and station owners reduce risk and save money. By taking advantage of an abundant domestic fuel source, dairy waste, and converting it into valuable, clean, carbon-negative transportation fuel, AMP Americas is saving fleets money, improving air quality and reducing GHG emissions. www.ampcng.com

Center for Revolutionary Solar Photoconversion

CRSP is a research center of the Colorado Energy Research Collaboratory (a joint research institute among NREL, University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, other research organizations and industry), which conducts basic and applied research.  The research is focused on highly efficient and low-cost production of fuels and electricity via direct solar-conversion processes. www.crspresearch.org
   
Park Pod

Park Pod was formed in 2010 by principals based in the US and Europe to develop, manufacture and service electric vehicle charging equipment (EVSE).  The company's primary focus was the installation of EVSE in partnership with retail, hospitality and workplace hosts in order to tie the use of electricity with customer affinity programs.
   

Redmark


Redmark is the Rocky Mountain Region’s leading provider of natural gas and propane vehicle and fueling station services. Redmark is among a limited number of Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier program partners and has OEM vehicle relationships with Tug Manufacturing and others. For on-highway applications and specialty vehicles, Redmark is a distributor for leading aftermarket fueling systems. The company has developed a network of Ford and GM dealerships to support the sales and service of CNG and LPG vehicles in the region. Redmark also offers operation and maintenance services for public and private CNG stations. In support of its customers, the company operates a 24/7 fueling station monitoring center, parts warehouse, fleet of service trucks, and a machine shop.  Redmark is headquartered in Commerce City, Colorado. www.redmarkcng.com

Sol Voltaics AB

Sol Voltaics is a nanomaterials and process company with technology to improve the efficiency of energy capture, generation and storage (with solar PV as its first application) -- based in Lund, Sweden. Recently, the company reported successful alignment and orientation of GaAs nanowires in a thin film. The achievement represents a significant milestone in solar nanowire manufacturing to date, paving the way for photovoltaic (PV) module efficiencies of 27% or more—a 50% boost in energy conversion efficiencies.  www.solvoltaics.com

Ward Alternative Energy, Inc.

Ward Alternative Energy is developing an infrastructure of natural gas fueling stations for fleet trucks and buses, and it offers related services in Colorado and the surrounding region.  The company currently operates seven fueling sites and three additional locations are in permitting or construction, which utilize a unique format including multiple fuels (LPG fueling, EV charging) and merchandising.
