Founded in 1975, Panhandler’s Pizza is the longest-standing pizza restaurant in Fort Collins, Colorado. A hub for family outings, community events, and student pit-stops, its unique take on premium deep-dish pizza is a staple for fans across Colorado. Panhandler’s began embracing distribution innovations as COVID restrictions began - such as co-op delivery, pop-up delivery and events, outdoor concerts, and nationwide shipping with Goldbelly. In 2021 it launched a two-phase plan to implement a flex-casual service model, upgrade restaurant features, expand the menu, add locations, and commit to environmental sustainability.

Pan’s sustainability commitment includes supply chain, restaurant operations, and food offerings. For example, Pan’s added the “Planthandler’s Sausage” pizza to the menu with Beyond Meat’s Italian-style plant-based sausage in April 2021. Phase One of the growth plan includes many sustainability objectives and a blueprint for expanding to new locations. Phase Two will begin mid-2022 with a complete sustainability plan — while never wavering from making the best pizza in the west.
