SEP, GFI Partner for Advanced Protein Seminars at CU Boulder and CSU
BOULDER, Colo., October 1, 2019 — Saoradh Enterprise Partners (SEP), a Boulder-based cleantech venture capital and research firm, is partnering with the Good Food Institute and Innosphere to hold seminars on advanced protein at the University of Colorado Boulder and Colorado State University later this month. Advanced protein, which includes cultivated and plant-based meat, is a cutting-edge (and delicious) solution to the environmental impacts of animal agriculture. Dr. Liz Specht, Associate Director of Science and Technology at GFI, will discuss advances and challenges in large-scale animal cell culture, tissue engineering, bioprocessing, food science, protein isolation, and crop science as they relate to plant-based and cell-based meat. The CU Boulder seminar will include an introduction by Marlon Reiss, First Gentleman of Colorado.
